Swami Vivekananda is the mentor of everything we do at BIF. He taught that a nation cannot be uplifted by ideals while its people go hungry — that service to man is service to God, and that real strength comes from standing on one's own feet. We carry that conviction into our work: dignity through livelihood, self-reliance through enterprise.
A hungry nation is not lifted by ideas alone. Only entrepreneurship creates employment — and only employment feeds a people for a lifetime.
