Good to know
Does the speaker listen to my home?
No. There is no microphone in the device. It is playback-only — it can only play the live broadcasts of the people you chose to follow, and nothing else.
Do we need a smartphone to use it?
Only once, to set up which voices it follows (or we can pre-configure it for you). After that it runs on its own — anyone can adjust volume or replay with the physical controls.
Can it use our existing temple or village loudspeakers?
Yes — that's the PA Gateway model. Connect it to your PA amplifier and it switches the system on automatically when a broadcast starts, plays the live voice through your loudspeakers, and switches it off when the broadcast ends.
How does it connect to the internet?
Over your WiFi (2.4 GHz) or a wired LAN (Ethernet) cable — whichever is handier where it sits. Voice is very light on bandwidth, so even a modest connection is plenty.
Do listeners have to pay?
Listening is free. You buy the speaker once. The person broadcasting uses the Meghavani app, which has its own plans. Ask us about bundles for communities.
Can I control when it plays?
Fully. Set quiet hours, mute it physically anytime, and change whom it follows whenever you like. It never plays a voice you didn't ask for.
